As a global leader in the appliance industry, the company set out on a multi-phase journey to modernize and future-proof its eCommerce operations. With fourteen brands under its umbrella, the program required careful planning to avoid disruption and ensure consistent user experiences across all brands.
The first priority was migrating from SAP Commerce Cloud v1 to v2 to create a scalable, flexible foundation for future growth. This involved transitioning a monolithic storefront to a more adaptable architecture, moving complex data across multiple systems and brands, and doing so without downtime or revenue loss. Business-critical operations, including active consumer subscriptions, needed to remain uninterrupted throughout the process.
Once the new platform was in place, the company turned its attention to improving access for its Friends & Family discount website—a key revenue channel for employees, contractors, and B2B customers. The existing multi-step login process caused frustration, abandoned sessions, and missed conversions. The goal was to deliver a secure, seamless authentication experience that unified internal and external users, reduced friction, and supported higher conversion rates.
