What This Position Is All About:

The Director, Operations will drive operational excellence across Zaelab. Reporting directly to the COO, this position is key to the management of resources and overall profitability of Zaelab.

This position will support the Zaelab COO and Management Team to ensure business objectives are met across key business functions including; resource management, project operations, business planning & forecasting, recruitment and accounting.

You Also Have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in operations, finance, resource management, or corporate strategy
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Prior experience partnering across teams and leading process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Resource Management (Delivery Operations)

  • Identify resource needs short term & long term based on the Company demand forecast
  • Plan, schedule and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment and retention strategy
  • Continually update of role descriptions, skills requirements and experienced required
  • Determine required training needs
  • Manage of subcontractor relationships
  • Conduct projects review with project managers to monitor change in requirements
  • Achieve KPIs
    • Utilization targets
    • Gross profit rate
  • Develop and implement the client rate card
  • Responsible for Web-based Resource Management tool

Process Management & System Administration (People Operations)

  • Identify opportunities for process creation to drive efficiencies
  • Onboard / Offboard of associates on systems
  • Oversee System Administration
  • Responsible for Contract Management & Administration
  • Develop and maintain company wide processes including the Workflow Tool
  • Ensure Time entry verification

Reporting and Analysis

  • Produce a Company-wide dashboard creation and management
    • KPI tracking
  • Track project progress and financial performance
    • Revenue and cost forecasting

Your success will be measured by:

  • Alignment of capacity with Supply & Demand (Right Resource, Right Time)
  • Meeting and Exceeding KPIs above including Utilization Targets, Profitability/Gross Margin
  • Providing the COO & Management Team with timely, accurate, and easily understandable information to make decisions
